We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe amidst these challenging times. Our goal from the beginning of the year was to release the spring collection gloves ahead of the regular schedule. And although it was looking promising, local government authorities have enforced stricter quarantine guidelines that unfortunately forced a complete production shutdown until April 6th tentatively. This affects the release date tremendously, however with a positive outcome at the time of evaluation we can get back on track.
Our philanthropy stance and continuous efforts to help convinced government officials to allow a small portion of production for masks to donate to our local community health department. Although this doesn't solve our glove delay, it was an important feat for the greater cause.
We are working effortlessly and communicating daily with officials for updates on when restrictions will be lifted. The other good news is, at the time of the shutdown enforcement, production was 50% complete. This will assist in efficient completion and speedy delivery of gloves to your gear bag once factories re-open. The tentative new release date will be April 20th, however with this ever-changing pandemic we can't promise its concrete. We will have more information the moment factories re-open.
